Local and Classic Travel have different registration links.  Please use the

correct link for your child's age and program.


Local Program Offerings

This is a recreational local soccer program with 

a focus on skill development and fun!


All parents/guardians are required to volunteer a minimum of two hours per season. 

This can include field work or concession stand work.

Families are expected to sell fundraising calendars. 


Little Kickers 

(U5 - Birth date between  8/1/2019 & 7/31/2020)

6 weekend 45 min beginner soccer clinics.

(Most sessions are Sat, some are moved to

Sun depending on girls varsity schedule)

August 24, 2024 through October 5, 2024.

No Clinics Labor Day Weekend.

Cost $75.00 and includes shirt and ball

Shin guards encouraged / Cleats optional


Peewee

(U6-U7 - Birth date between 8/1/2017 & 7/31/2019)

1 weekly practice and 6 Saturday games.

First practice the week of August 18, 2024.

Games August 24, 2024 through October 5, 2024.

No Games Labor Day Weekend.

Cost $100.00 and includes shirt and socks

Shin guards and black shorts required

Cleats recommended


Junior

(U8-U9 - Birth date between 8/1/2015 & 7/31/2017)

1 weekly practice and 7 Saturday games.

First practice is the week of August 18, 2024.

Games August 24, 2024 through October 19, 2024.

No Games Labor Day or

Indigenous Peoples’ Weekends.

Cost $110 and includes shirt and socks

Shin guards, black shorts and

soccer cleats required

Classic Travel Program Offerings

during the U9-U10 Soccer Maine Festival.

U9 - U11

This is a recreational travel soccer program 

focused on skill development.

1-2 practices per week and 6 Sunday games.

Practices start toward the 2nd half of August.

Teams participate in the PLFC

10/12/2024 - 10/14/2024

Teams participate in the Soccer Maine Festival

at the end of October.

U9 - U10 (Birth date between 8/1/2014 & 7/31/2017)

Cost $120.00 + the cost of uniform if needed

U11 (Birth date between 8/1/2013 & 7/31/2014)

Cost $130 + the cost of uniform if needed



U12 - U14

This is a competitive travel soccer program

focused on preparing players for high school soccer.

1-2 practices per week and 6 Sunday games.

Practices start toward the 2nd half of August.

Teams participate in the PLFC

10/12/2024 - 10/14/2024

Teams participate in the Soccer Maine Playoffs

the weekend following the last regular season

game and into November depending on performance.

U12 (Birth date between 8/1/2012 & 7/31/2014)

Cost $130 + the cost of uniform if needed

U13-U14 (Birth date between 8/1/2010 & 7/31/2012)

Cost $140 + the cost of uniform if needed

*Sanford Soccer is a non-profit organization and

100% volunteer run.  Mandatory fundraising and

volunteer hrs help to keep the cost of our

programming as low as possible.

**All coaches are volunteer coaches.

***Travel uniform pricing and order dates

to be determined.

****Returning Travel players can use the

previous season uniform.

*****Travel teams have 3 home games

and 3 away games.

******Travel player participation in the PLFC, Soccer

Maine Festival, and Soccer Maine

Playoffs is mandatory. 

*******All programming is dependent on coaching

availability and player registration numbers.

If we are unable to offer a specific program

offering we will refund the player fee.

********There will be no refunds for

Classic Travel Uniforms.

*********If a player is registered and unable

to play a 50% refund of the registration fee will be

provided if the association is notified on or before

July 31, 2024. There will be no refunds of

player registration fees after August 1, 2024.


Christine Soule Memorial Scholarship

In memory of Christine Soule, a long-time supporter of soccer, the association,
and the arts, Sanford-Springvale Soccer Association will award one scholarship to a
graduating senior of Sanford High School. Qualified candidates will be a
 high school student who has participated for at least two years in the
Sanford-Springvale Soccer Association, demonstrated a continued passion for the
sport throughout high school, and submitted a complete scholarship application by the deadline.


NO DOGS ALLOWED ON FIELDS

 

The purpose of Sanford Soccer is to foster, promote, and advance the cause of youth soccer in Sanford and Springvale without regard to sex, race or creed; to guard the interests of the teams and players; and to respect their relationships and affiliation with Soccer Maine and the United States Youth Federation.
